Employment Law Consultant

Patti Mazhude is the firm’s Employment Law Consultant. She was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2002 and has over 20 years experience in employment law matters. She has represented both employers and employees in investigations, negotiations for sensitive employee exits, restructurings and redundancy processes and associated processes. Patti was also called as a Barrister in 2002 and is also a litigator, having served as Head of Litigation, Head of Legal, General Counsel and Senior Regulatory Counsel in banks and financial services institutions.

Clients have commented on her ability to spot the strength and weaknesses of each case, and providing empathetic support, focusing on the best strategies to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved, with minimal delay. Other areas that Patti can assist with include the following:

Patti is also an active affiliate of UNESCO’s International Research Centre of Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) and presented a paper on the responsible development of Artificial Intelligence that she co-authored at the launch of IRCAI https://ircai.org/project/ai4d-responsible-ai-in-sub-saharan-africa/ She is a graduate of the London School of Economics, specialising in International Finance and International Business Litigation. As such, she has experience in cross border litigation and has also represented international clients at the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). Patti is a senior lawyer and has held board positions in Healthcare, academic institutions and advised senior executives in driving forward corporate agenda and implementing regulatory changes, in areas ranging from Litigation, data protection, capital markets,  AI, cybersecurity, reputation and crisis management and fraud investigation and recoveries.
